Major check point during the event

Please note that there is only one major check point for the support teams during the event. This is based at Innerwick in Glen Lyon. Please note that we supply plenty of food and hydration for each participant throughout the event and we ask support teams not to follow their teams around the route as this will only increase the possibility of accidents. The narrow roads are not suitable for heavy event traffic.

To minimise traffic on the event route through Glen Lyon we ask that support teams drive out of the gates of Taymouth Castle, turn right and head towards Killin on the A827. Just before Morenish take a small road on the right signposted to the Ben Lawers Visitor Centre. Follow this road over the hill to Bridge of Balgie, turn right and follow the road for one mile to Innerwick.

Once support teams have refreshed and motivated their teams they should drive to the Event Hub at Killin to prepare for their team finishing. Returning the same way please head west up Glen Lyon before turning left at Bridge of Balgie, past the Ben Lawers visitor centre. Turn right on to the A827 and head into Killin. Follow event signage to the Event Hub.
